## Our verdict

ScreenRec is built around one thing: it uploads while you record and copies a share link when you press stop. It records the screen, webcam, microphone and computer audio, runs on Windows, Mac and Linux, and shows who watched your video and for how long.

The free plan has no watermark and no length limit once you sign up, but it is for personal use only, records at up to 720p and caps you at 50 recordings and 10 share links a month. Pro ($59 a year) lifts that to 1080p and business use. There is no editor at all, so you can't trim a recording before you send it.

If you need to edit before you share, compare [Loom](/reviews/loom/) and [ScreenPal](/reviews/screenpal/). If you don't need a link and want a free recorder with no caps, [OBS Studio](/reviews/obs-studio/) or, on Windows, [ShareX](/reviews/sharex/) are better fits.
