Icecream Screen Recorder is a plain Windows recorder that covers the basics: full screen or an area, a webcam window, computer audio and microphone, and scheduled recordings. You can upload a video to Icecream's servers for a share link without creating an account.

The free version is only good for a test: it stops at 5 minutes and adds a watermark. PRO costs $29.95 a year, or $67.16 once at the vendor's current discount. Editing stops at trimming, muting and speed changes, and the Mac and Android apps are years old.
