Icecream Screen Recorder is a plain Windows recorder that covers the basics: full screen or an area, a webcam window, computer audio and microphone, and scheduled recordings. You can upload a video to Icecream’s servers for a share link without creating an account.
The free version is only good for a test: it stops at 5 minutes and adds a watermark. PRO costs $29.95 a year, or $67.16 once at the vendor’s current discount. Editing stops at trimming, muting and speed changes, and the Mac and Android apps are years old.
If you don’t want to pay, compare the free recorders ShareX and OBS Studio. If you need more editing, compare it with Camtasia.
