## Our verdict

Hippo Video is a video messaging tool for sales teams with a stronger editor than most. Quick Edit handles trims, text and blur on every plan. Pro adds a multi-track timeline with imported clips and fade effects. Every plan includes some closed-caption minutes and gets a share link, view notifications and viewer insights, and it runs on desktop, Chromebook and phones.

The free plan is generous on volume: 50 videos a month, up to 30 minutes each, in Full HD. But each video gets a Hippo Video end card, and you can't download it. Pro costs $240 per user a year. On a Mac, computer audio is recorded only from a browser tab.

If the end card is a problem, compare the free plans of [Vidyard](/reviews/vidyard/) and [Dubb](/reviews/dubb/). If you want AI-personalized videos at scale, look at [Sendspark](/reviews/sendspark/).
