## Our verdict

Claap records your screen and camera from a Chrome extension and gives you a link to share. Viewers without an account can watch, and colleagues can comment, react and reply with video. You can trim, cut from the transcript and remove silences.

Claap has moved toward sales teams. It joined lemlist in October 2025, and most of its paid features are AI meeting notes, CRM updates and coaching. The free Basic licence allows 10 videos and 300 minutes in total, without downloads. Pro costs $322.68 per user a year (€288) and still caps recording at 1,000 minutes a month.

If you just want to send quick video messages, [Loom](/reviews/loom/) or [Zight](/reviews/zight/) cost less and focus on that job. If you need a Chromebook or Linux app, Claap doesn't list one.
