Descript moves legacy plans to its current plans
From November 17, 2025, Descript began moving subscribers on legacy and sunset plans to its current plans, which count media minutes and AI credits instead of transcription hours.
Descript began migrating all subscribers on its Legacy and Sunset plans to its current plans from November 17, 2025, on each subscriber’s next billing date.1 The current plans count media minutes and AI credits instead of transcription hours, and Descript said some legacy prices could rise.1
See Descript pricing for what each current plan includes.
